When Jakob Owen's post announced his horror short film contest, we were excited by the idea of challenging ourselves to create a narrative piece within such a limited amount of time while also following the creative rules of the contest.

 

Our very own Daniela Sofía led the way by writing & directing the project and instilling her Puerto Rican heritage into the film; accompanied by Roseblud and Christine Echeandía’s incredibly eerie performances. With the help of Jo King’s cinematography skills, we were able to create a film that reminded us of the value of extending beyond comfort zones, and how impactful something can be when it comes from a COMMUNITY of people.
