When Jakob Owen's post announced his horror short film contest, we were excited by the idea of challenging ourselves to create a narrative piece within such a limited amount of time while also following the creative rules of the contest.

 

Our very own Daniela Sofía led the way by instilling her Puerto Rican heritage into the film, accompanied by Roseblud and Christine Echeandía’s incredibly eerie performances. With the help of Jo King’s cinematography skills, we were able to create a film that reminded us of the value of extending beyond comfort zones, and how impactful something can be when it comes from a COMMUNITY of people.
